Hey, I’m Elise the Marketing Manager at Disko! I’m a writer and love print publications so much. I love that Disko is keeping the medium alive.

Top 3 Disko Picks:

1. Goopy Mag - I’m a bit biased on this one since it’s my magazine! I put it together with my best friend. It’s a magazine centered around playing as an adult and is full of fun games and activities to interact with. There’s also articles (written by me!) on how different people incorporate play into their adult lives. 

2. Al Hayya, Issue 3 - This magazine caught my attention because of its stunning design. It held my attention because it’s published about the “interests and strife of women” and focuses specifically on Arab women. The magazine is bilingual, all writing is in Arabic and English and tells powerful stories about Lebanon, Palestine and other parts of the Middle East. 

3. Site Magazine, Series 1 Volume 3 - This local magazine hosted an amazing opening at the University of Waterloo Architecture Gallery, catered by us! It has impeccable design and was made by alumni of the local architecture program. I love its gold cover and clean refined layout.
