About 13Tracks:

13tracks is a magazine about how music makes us feel.
Each issue comprises original writing and art, inspired by the tracks in a specific playlist, ranging from poetry to short fiction to memoir, and from painting to photography to sculpture.

It's a way of considering music through writers' and artists' responses to it. Literally a magazine as a playlist / playlist as a magazine.

Readers are curious, engaged, refined (to a degree). These are the people who buy vinyl to listen to, who buy books to read, who seek out independent cafes and wine bars instead of chains. The aesthetes and intellectuals and those who go to therapy. Those who want to switch off their screens and have a deeper experience.
