About Abitare:
Founded in 1961 by Piera Peroni Abitare magazine has crossed the history of costume, architecture and design, international, following in its pages the evolution of our ways of life and how we inhabit places.
In this issue:
Highlights include the Rome of the future, with the main public and private projects currently on site; a reflection by Beppe Finessi on the transdisciplinary figure of Roberto Sambonet, to whom the Milan Triennale is dedicating retrospective; the expansion of Selgas Cano‘s Madrid studio, to which an all-purpose building immersed in vegetation is added; the history of the Craja bar, a historic Milanese venue for artists and creative people, whose story is revived in a book.
Interview with English architect and designer John Pawson, prophet of minimalism. Interiors include the small building in Ostuni renovated by Studio Talent where 19th-century cross vaults coexist with an open-plan space of an industrial flavour; the holiday home in Menorca created by the Parisian studio Atelier du Pont in a typical local farmhouse, the villa in the Mexican desert built by Susana López González with a mix of materials that blend into the setting.
In the dossiers, old forms and modern technologies in the lighting design and the evolving smart functions concentrated in the plates.

Where are we?
Disko is in Cambridge, Ontario. It's about an hour west of Toronto. We're specifically located in the Galt area, which is a beautiful old downtown with nice shops. It's worth the drive.
