The new issue of Abitare is on the newsstands from tomorrow Wednesday 21 August. Highlights include the National Archives in Hangzhou that Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu, of Amateur Studio, have designed as a sequence of buildings; the large mural by the Franco-Tunisian artist eL Seed at HangarBicocca in Milan; Álvaro Siza‘s architecture recounted in a book through an amusing dialogue between the master’s sketches and Duccio Malagamba‘s photographs. Interview with Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, who predict the disappearance of the figure of the architect, replaced by algorithms. Where are we?
Disko is in Cambridge, Ontario. It's about an hour west of Toronto. We're specifically located in the Galt area, which is a beautiful old downtown with nice shops. It's worth the drive.
