About The New Order:

THE NEW ORDER was founded upon the philosophy of creating something insightful for our readers, with the premise being to originate.

In its inaugural print format THE NEW ORDER has flourished in many areas. Manifesting a purist dedication to a consistent body of cerebral, intelligent work, that encourages making time and slowing down the ingestion of information. With focus placed on educating, informing and entertaining via a devotion to in depth journalism and cultural / sub cultural analysis.

About this Issue:

THE NEW ORDER ISSUE 35 features five covers:

SARZ is the first name on the list, the Nigerian born record producer and musician as photographed by Diogo Lopes in London. Having established himself with great distinction in recent years we are more than honoured to include SARZ to a long list of big names to feature on our the cover of THE NEW ORDER.

Next up have WILL SWEENEY, the Tokyo based artist who has built a name for himself with his bold and distinctive approach to sci-fi art work makes for a unique option for a cover. Not only do we take an extensive look at Sweeney’s archive of but  have multiple conversations with a number of his friends including Jun Takahashi of Undercover, Sk8thing of Cavempt, Coco Star Sims and last but not least Susumu Mukai.

Then we have SHOW ME THE BODY, the New York based hard core band who are making a lot of noise both literally and figuratively. Defined by an extremely unique sound, SHOW ME THE BODY headed by Julian Cashwan Pratt, a very level headed individual with a distinctive vision. Photographed by Adam Zhu in their local neighbourhood, we get a real insight into the bands community around them.

VIAGRA BOYS’ Sebastian Murphy makes for another stand out individual to feature on the cover. Photographed by Adam Titchener in London, the images fit the profile of a very talented and extraverted individual who is making all the right move at the moment.

Long time THE NEW ORDER contributor PETER SUTHERLAND pulls his eight with a very strong cover having shot young talented Japanese skaters Super Rat and T4. Having spent the day on the outskirts of Tokyo, the outcome of the photos speak for themselves.

Featured content in this issue:

Amongst the stand out features we take a look inside the latest retaW retail space located in Osaka in addition to LA based brand CASINOLA, who recently teamed up with NATIVE SONS on a series of frames. Furthermore we created a really strong think piece on Japanese artist KENSEI YABUNO and Tokyo based COCO STAR SIMS.
